Augustana College Greek Life

Our fraternity was founded in 2019 with the idea of increased volunteer work while still maintaining the social aspect of a fraternity. We decided to implement a new type of new member period that involved less time than the other groups. The reasoning behind this is to help students who prioritize their grades be able to have more time for schoolwork, and for athletes who usually have not been able to rush, to feel more comfortable rushing even with their busy schedules. We have began working with a few organizations on and off campus for our volunteer work. For example, we have partnered with a local organization called the river bend food bank and plan to work with best buddies this year as well.  We hope to grow Greek life this year and in the future and we are beyond excited to be able to join Greek life on campus.
